We took a one day tour 1 1/2 outside of Shanghai to the City of Suzhou. Where we visited The Lion Grove and Humble Fishermans Gardens. It was like walking into a Pearl Buck novel. The landscape and architecture was stunning. I was afraid the kids wouldn't enjoy the gardens but they were a favorite of the trip. The top left picture is a mahogany carriage used to carry the wealthy. The top right picture is of an opium bed where the wives and concubines gossiped and smoked.
