Sunday Temple

We had a really nice Sunday with the kids and our friends. We visited the reclining buddha temple and hiked a bit. It was a great day to be outdoors, the fall colors are spectacular and the weather was cool. I don't remember it being so pretty last year but Bob said thats because I was trying to adapt to life here and didn't notice.

I enjoyed the temple and would like to take my camera back and spend some time. It's always fascinating to learn about new cultures and religions. Days like this make our time in Korea seem to short. Even Katie Ann commented that we are closer to nature here and that she likes that. We would like it more if we could eat at Chili's after hiking but we can't have it all....

These are burial tombs for ashes. Notice the open door on the bottom right where you put the ashes.

Now this is a water fountain!! Beautiful stone work with a mountain tap. The red ladles are communal cups. If you would like to conceive a son you should drink from this well.
