Scenes from my neighborhood during the rice harvest. After the rice is cut from the fields it is laid out on canvas to dry. Each morning they rake and spread it in the sun and in the evening they roll it up in the canvas to protect it from moisture. Then it is bagged and stored for use throughout the year. Roads all over Sacheon are lined with rice for several weeks.

Okay, it's official. I am totally jealous of all of the pictures that you have of the rice harvest and I just kept putting it off. Again, you have some great shots of the people around our "village".
Keep up the good job on your blog and the pics.
