Thai Traditions

This was one of our guides from the Phi Phi Tour greeting us in the typical Thai wai. It is such a graceful gesture. The wai can mean hello, goodbye, and thank you. We were greeted this way from the time we stepped onto the airplane. I've been Koreanized when it comes to greetings and can't stop myself from bowing to everyone.

Some beautiful Thai ladies playing traditional Thai instruments.
This is a Thai Spirit House. The Thai's have these teak spirit houses in front of their homes and businesses. They offer food and drink to the spirits and believe they protect the owners from evil.
