Traditional Korean Tea House

Last Sunday Isabelle took us to a Traditional Korean Tea house. It was a quiet place with an old world atmosphere. The art work was a bit bizarre but the citrus tea was good. At first, the taste seemed to tart but after a few sips my palate adjusted and I enjoyed the rest of the cup. Isabelle said it was made with a Korean Lemon that is different from the lemon we buy at the store. I'm curious about the difference and will look for them at the outdoor market. They also served barley water which has an earthy taste that is tolerable. Isabelle let me try her jujube tea but it seemed bitter to me. The girls got bored so next time they are staying home where they can play outside and be loud. Lauren was so active we decided to skip browsing through the Tea Store next door. I really want to go back and buy some of the traditional tea ware. I love the small wooden plates they place the tea cups on, the wooden spoons, cups, I want all of it!!!

We ate a hurried lunch at Pizza Hut and then went to see Bridge To Terabithia. This was my first time going to the movies here and I can't wait to go again. When you buy your tickets they show you a seating chart and the seats are reserved for you. The movie was in English and for two hours I was able to forget I was in a foreign country and enjoy being surrounded by the English language. The popcorn was good too!!
